About the Event
This is where the field gets cut down to ten. After weeks of pitch training, feedback, and two Funding Labs sessions with Murali Chirala and Vivek Vipul, our founders bring their sharpest version of the pitch to a panel of investors for one last round before Demo Day.
The ten who come out of this room will take the stage on October 2 in front of a full room of investors and the Venture Dock community.
Come watch the process play out, hear the pitches before anyone else does, and see how the panel thinks through what makes a founder ready.

Thursday, September 3, 5:00 PM — Donna Griffit's storytelling session, open pitch-craft training with the corporate storyteller who's spent two decades helping founders turn raw data into pitches that land
Tuesday, September 8, 4:00 PM — Funding Labs with Murali Chirala, Managing Partner & Co-Founder of FalconX Ventures, who spent two decades across Yahoo, Metavante, and Cyberbills before co-founding the firm
Monday, September 14, 4:00 PM — Funding Labs with Vivek Vipul, Cofounder & CEO of Venture Dock and General Partner at FalconX Ventures, who built and scaled Abzooba from idea to acquisition before founding Venture Dock
Friday, September 18, 11:00 AM — Selection Round, where the group narrows to a final ten who pitch live at Demo Day
What Happens on the Day
A panel of investors watches each founder pitch, asks questions, and scores them against the same bar used for Demo Day itself. By the end of the session, ten founders walk out knowing they're on the October 2 stage.
