Marketing Minds is a new space within She's New to America Pro, built for immigrant women who work in marketing—across every specialty, every channel, every level.

Our first session is simple: no agenda, no slides, no pressure. Just a virtual room full of marketers who get it.

At this first meetup, we'll:

  • Introduce ourselves and share what we do

  • Talk about what brought us to marketing and what keeps us here

  • Start mapping what this community needs most: trends, tools, peer support, or skill-building

Azhar Imanakunova is a Senior Partner Marketing Manager at Nexcess with 10+ years of experience in GTM strategy, demand generation, and revenue operations across B2B. She is the founder of She's New to America Pro—a community of 250+ immigrant women navigating careers in the United States. Azhar brings deep expertise in performance marketing, paid media, and partnership-driven growth, combined with a genuine passion for building spaces where immigrant professionals can thrive.

Maria Gordienko is a Product Marketing Manager with 8+ years of experience across EdTech, AI healthcare, HRTech, and B2B events. She is the co-founder of She's New to America Pro and the strategist behind its positioning and growth — building the community to 250 members with sub-2% churn and zero paid acquisition. Maria specializes in GTM strategy, customer research, and positioning—and she has a track record that speaks for itself: $10M in product pre-orders, $2M in event revenue, and $1M in enterprise revenue saved.

Together, they bring the full marketing stack—strategy, execution, performance, and community—and they built She's NTAP from the ground up with both.
