About Event

Join us on the 3rd Thursday of every month as we gather to build community through conversation, storytelling, deep listening, and shared reflection in Southeast Chicago.

The Southeast Community Peace Circle is a welcoming space to slow down, connect with neighbors and community members, and practice being present with one another. In the circle, we share stories, keep confidence with each other, grow empathy through active listening, and make room for the experiences, questions, joys, tensions, and reflections that we carry.

Each gathering offers a different invitation into conversation. Together, we explore the stories that shape us, the beliefs we hold, the relationships we are building, and the ways we experience community. You do not need any previous experience with Peace Circles or Talking Circles to participate. You are welcome to speak, to listen, to reflect, and to show up as you are.

Come by yourself or bring a friend. Our hope is to nurture a circle of relationships and social connections that continue to support us beyond our time together.

What story do you need to bring to the circle?

Trust that the circle is capable of holding our stories.
