About Event

✨ Join the visionary founder of (re)Biz, a business-as-usual un/school for a 1 hour interactive workshop to discover ‘PROJECT TIPPING POINT’

Project Tipping Point is an initiative of (re)Biz focused on teaching the science, mindset, worldview and pragmatic strategies and methods to achieve social tipping points and bioregional collective action towards the climate crisis, from a personal to organizational and systemic level.

Although climate dominates the headlines, we know that many other crises exist. This session explores the profound need for a holistic worldview that weaves in regenerative principles, degrowth, post growth and biomimetic concepts as well as social tipping point science.

Explore real world examples of how this is being applied to our existing organizations and how we can ignite change as well as the potential of systems thinking to usher in a new era of balance, resilience and flourishing for all life on Earth.

What is a social tipping point?

Just as climate scientists discuss tipping points in biophysical systems, social scientists describe tipping points in social systems. Pressure can build up beneath the surface, and over time, create cracks and fissures that trigger cascading changes that lead, often irreversibly, to a new steady state. Social tipping points are these movements and moments in dynamic systems where large-volume, small changes trigger an abrupt, irreversible change in a social system.

(re)Biz is creating social tipping points that transcend business-as-usual thinking within its infinite growth paradigm, mechanistic and reductionistic methods, techno-solutionist approaches riddled with hubris and greenwashing & myopic, disconnected narratives that are lacking contextual and collective relevance.
