Inception Studio x regenAI: How AI Unlocks the Ancestral Story

​Inception Studio & regenAI invites you to an evening featuring Inceptioneer, Margarita Geleta, who will be sharing how AI can help unlock the ancestral story (in line with her work at Stanford in ancestry inference, genotype simulation and genetic genealogy). Pizza and beer/wine will be provided!

​Our Speaker: Margarita a researcher in artificial intelligence at the Berkeley AI Research Lab (BAIR) and Stanford Department of Biomedical Data Science (Stanford DBDS) and specializes in generative AI, genomics, and steganography. Her research has been presented at prestigious AI conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, AAAI, ICASSP, and ASHG.

​Currently, Margarita is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, she worked at Amazon as an Applied Scientist in the Home Innovation Team, specializing in large-scale generative models. Most recently, Margarita earned 1st place at the National Security Hackathon.

​Transportation: Less than 3 blocks south of the Powell BART station, less than 2 blocks west of the Yerba Buena MUNI station, and about 6 blocks northwest of the 4th St CalTrain station. Loosely enforced 1 hour parking on Tehama, meters in the area free after 6p, uncovered parking .5 blocks on Tehama and 5th ($20), secured parking 1.5 blocks away at the 5th and Mission garage (but is pricey).
