Retro Arcade Jam - Open Registration
Ever wanted to make a retro arcade game? Now you can.
We're vibing games for a real 2-player arcade cabinet that'll show up at the SF Tech Week Algorave. If you've only ever thought about making games—if it's been sitting in your head but you've never known where to start—this is the day.
Come solo or find a team here. We'll help you get set up and get unstuck. You'll build with pygame and test on the actual arcade box while you work.
By the end of the day, you'll have made something real. Something people can play on actual arcade hardware.
This is the first cabinet. More are coming to Frontier Tower. Build something good enough, and there might be money in it down the line.
The AI floor stays open as long as you need it. Bring your laptop and your game ideas. Find collaborators. Learn how to ship what you make—not just fast, but right.

This event is hosted at the Frontier Tower:
We are transforming a 16-floor tower in San Francisco into a self-governed vertical village—a hub for frontier technologies and creative arts. Tier-one labs presenting AI, Ethereum, biotech, neuroscience, longevity, robotics, human flourishing, and arts & music. These floors will house innovators and creators pushing the boundaries of human potential in a post-AI-singularity world.
