Spiritual Healing and the Psychedelic Renaissance >>> Can medicine make room for the sacred?

Join ShaMynds Healing Center for an intimate conversation between Dr. Joe Tafur and Dr. Alya Ahmad.. exploring the relationship between modern medicine, traditional healing, and the spiritual dimensions of human experience.

Inspired by Dr. Tafur's book, Medicine Song, the discussion will draw on his experiences with traditional Amazonian medicine, his medical background, and the evolving science of psychedelic healing.

Together, we'll explore the role of meaning, connection, and spirituality in healing - and what these perspectives might offer the future of mental health care.

Taking place during Global Psychedelic Week, this gathering is an opportunity for thoughtful conversation and connection with Sacramento's healing community.
