About Event

A free + private dinner to discuss fundraising, commercials, G2M strategy for women's health tech / products.

The attendees list is a mix of investors, operators and Seed + stage founders.

This is sit down dinner.

We are using a private location and bringing in a private chef so there is ample space to move around and chat with everyone before / after dinner.

The private location also means we can get 'Em+Drew' child care service for children age 4+ in the same room, if this would enable you to join then please message Leo and if there's demand we'll arrange this.

We will email out more details regarding the menu and dietary preferences soon.

Hosted by Leo Tyson Co-founder of Nexus and Charlene Tang Co-founder of NXGN.

Example discussion points:

Commercial growth & business models-

1. To what extent can we viably scale a healthtech venture in the UK through D2C or B2B2C models? What are the common pitfalls on the path to sustainable growth - and what would you say to others in the room: any advice you’d give or ask for?

2. How do we manage team focus, data & evidence generation, and cash-burn when pursuing multiple business models?

3. What are some examples of market launches or pivots that we’ve worked on - to what extent have they worked and why?

Navigating routes to scale and exit-

4. What does a successful transition from “growth mode” to “exit-ready” look like? What are the operational or cultural shifts involved?

5. What signals or metrics do acquirers or late-stage investors look for in healthtech today — and has that changed post-2021?

6. What are some case studies of healthtech exits that we find insightful — what drove the outcome, and what would you do differently if starting again?

This dinner is sponsored by Vestd and RunwayEast.
