​We know the journey of neurodivergent adulthood, or parenting a child with special needs, can often feel isolating, which is why we are hosting our second "Village Gathering" on 10th November at 7pm AEST (UTC+10).

​At this Village Gathering, you'll get the chance to:

• ​Build relationships with others who understand the joys and challenges of being neurodivergent, or of caring for someone who is

• ​Ask questions directly to our team

• ​Get an exclusive sneak peek at what's coming next for Understanding Zoe

​Come exactly as you are: camera off is completely fine, and you'll never be put on the spot to speak. Fold the laundry, sit with your child, just listen if that's what you need.

​Here’s exactly how the evening will go

​Before the event
When you sign up, you’ll get a confirmation email from Luma. On the day, you’ll get a reminder with the link to join on Google Meet. You don’t need to prepare anything, and you don’t need a Google account.

​Joining (from 6:55pm)
You can click the link from 6:55pm. Before you join, you’ll see a preview screen where you can turn your camera and microphone off. Then click “Ask to join” and wait a moment until we let you in. That’s normal. Nobody will ask you to turn your camera or microphone on.

​Welcome (7:00pm, about 5 minutes)
Laetitia will say hello and explain how the evening works. You’ll see the plan for the evening, so you always know what’s next.

​Presentation (7:05pm, about 20 minutes)
The team will share a short presentation on screen. This includes the sneak peek at what’s coming next for Understanding Zoe. You can just watch and listen.

​Questions (7:25pm, about 15 minutes)
You can type a question in the chat at any time, even during the presentation. We’ll read the questions out and answer them. If you prefer, you can raise your hand and ask out loud, but you never have to. If we run out of time, we’ll follow up afterwards.

​Connecting (7:40pm, about 20 minutes)
There will be time to chat with the community. You can talk, type, or simply listen. All of these are welcome.

​Ending (8:00pm)
The gathering finishes at 8pm. You can leave at any time before that, without saying goodbye. Nobody will mind.

​Good to know
Kids, pets and background noise are welcome. If your connection drops, just click the link again. If you can only stay for part of the evening, come for that part. It still counts.
