Self-Learners for Teens — An Open House for Parents & Students
If you have an ambitious teen, or one who's clearly capable of more than they're showing right now, this session is for them.
Grades measure compliance. They don't tell you whether your teen actually knows how to learn, which is the one skill that carries them through every subject, every exam, and everything after school ends. Most kids are never taught it. We assume they pick it up along the way. Most don't.
Join Diego Vera, founder of Self Learners, for a live session for parents and teens together. At fifteen, Diego self-taught an MIT-level mathematics and physics curriculum from his bedroom, and he built Self Learners to teach the method behind that to the next generation: how to learn independently, think deeply, and own their education.
Your teen won't just listen. They'll leave having actually started. By the end of the session, your teen will have begun designing their own learning project around something they genuinely care about, plus a personal read on how they learn best that they get to keep.
In this 60-minute session, you'll get:
The five pillars of self-directed learning, and why they matter more than any single grade
How the teen program works: mentorship, structure, and how we keep students supported and safe
How we partner with parents throughout
Live Q&A for both parents and teens
Come with your questions. This is as much about whether we're the right fit for your family as it is about what we do.
This is happening Sunday at 4 PM, and spots are limited to keep the session personal. Reserve yours below.
