Leading People Through AI Transformation: A Dinner for Senior Technology and People Leaders
Nearly every company is navigating an AI transformation right now, both in what they build and how they work.
We’re all learning that the technology is the easier part. Adoption depends on managers who can lead through uncertainty and employees who trust the change enough to work differently.
Join Rising Team for an off-the-record conversation with People and Technology leaders to talk through what is and isn’t working and learn from each other. We’ll also have prompts to spark authentic conversations and help get to know each other outside of work.
Each table is small and led by a moderator. We'll cover topics like:
What separates teams that adopt AI well from teams that resist it?
How do you build trust even while people’s roles are being redesigned?
What does leadership need to look like now in the age of AI?
How can Technology and People leaders work together to make AI stick?
Plus: fun, connection-based prompts, not about AI!
Setting
We'll meet on Thursday, November 5, at Café Vivant in downtown Menlo Park. The restaurant opened last fall with chef Nico Russell, who earned a Michelin star at Oxalis in Brooklyn. We'll have the Wine Library for the night. It's a room lined with bottles, with a small living room area where we'll have drinks before sitting down.
Café Vivant is at 720 Santa Cruz Avenue, a short walk from the Menlo Park Caltrain station, with public parking nearby.
Agenda

Before founding Rising Team, Jen led Facebook Groups, served as President and COO of Change.org, and held leadership roles at Google and Yahoo. She also teaches "Managing Growing Enterprises" at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and wrote the Wall Street Journal bestseller Purposeful.
Rising Team helps companies develop strong leaders and teams at scale, and supports the people side of AI transformation. Our AI Leadership Personal Trainer, Arti, builds a personalized growth plan for every manager and individual contributor, then coaches them through it with one-on-one guidance, voice roleplay for hard conversations, and team sessions. It's customized to your company's values and leadership frameworks, works inside the calendar and messaging tools people already use, and takes very little HR bandwidth to run.
We'll take five minutes at the start to say who we are. There's no demo, and dinner is on us.
