This seed swap will take you on a journey - where the blind led the sighted - through collective imagination practice. This session will offer new ways to see Disabled leadership and creativity within CIPC practice. This session is for: - Folks facing uncertainty in their context ( i.e. in general unrelated to Disability). - Practitioners curious about accessibility and practice who aren’t sure where to begin. - Folks with who don’t have a personal connection with Disability who want to be more inclusive. This seed-swap demonstrates how we might find our way collectively even in the dark.

Featuring: Rebecca Lee
Rebecca Lee is founder of Universal Recognition (UR) CIC, a movement led by d/Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent creatives, innovators and accessibility specialists. UR helps organisations and organisers to recognise (universally) the powerful transformative impact of accessibility within sustainability, place and service making. Rebecca was Equity and Accessibility Lead with Doughnut Economics Action lab facilitating a global accessibility co-creative project between UR and DEAL’s global community organisers.

​Rebecca is invisibly disabled herself and a former young carer to disabled family members. Her practice centres accessibility as a nourishing and inspiring method for growing positive material change. She facilitates marginalised-led community design research and co-production. This practice builds resource networks and connections between communities experiencing relative security and those experiencing extreme hardship. Rebecca knows the importance of collective-imagination and lived-expertise in shaping futures that look, sound, feel and are, fit for us all.
