Enjoyment as Resistance
Thursday, 12 November · 19:00 to 21:00 · Casino for Social Medicine, Neukölln-Berlin
In a world that profits from our exhaustion and loneliness, making time for pleasure, connection, and being together can be a small act of resistance. ✊
What if meeting people didn't have to mean networking, small talk, or figuring out what someone can do for you?
Come play with us! 🙌
We're bringing interlüde's Playground workshop to Casino for two hours of guided games, curious questions, and conversations with people you might not otherwise cross paths with. A multicultural crowd with different backgrounds, perspectives, and ways of seeing the world.
We’ll spark curiosity and leave room for surprises.
👀 What to expect
Casino brings the space and drinks. We bring the games. You bring yourself and your curiosity! Expect conversations that range from silly, thoughtful, uncomfortable, or unexpectedly good.
🎲 Two-hour workshop
💬 Icebreakers and games
🌍 25 people from different backgrounds
🙌 One-to-one interactions
🍹 Drinks available at the bar
🌈 An open, respectful space where everyone is welcome
The goal is to make time and space to listen, exchange perspectives, and discover what connects us, or not! And in case you are shy, you're in luck. We'll mainly interact one-to-one, so there's no need to address a room full of strangers or share more than you're comfortable with.
As always, consent is Queen! You choose what you share, with whom, and when you're ready to move on.
The evening doesn't end when the workshop does. Stick around after, grab a drink, enjoy the space, and see where the conversations take you.
💜 How it works
The workshop is donation-based. You can contribute before, during, or after the event. Your support helps us keep creating spaces for connection and make future gatherings possible and accessible.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. If you want to come, we welcome you! Please register to secure your spot!
Want to support what we're building beyond the workshop? You can collaborate with us or follow interlüde on Instagram. 🫶
🌱 Who is this gathering for?
For people looking for more than polite exchanges and familiar bubbles.
For the curious, the socially exhausted, the newcomers, the long-time Berliners, the shy ones, the talkative ones, and anyone who's been wondering how to meet people in a way that feels a little more human.
You don't need to be an extrovert, have your life figured out, or share everyone's opinions.
Just bring yourself and your curiosity. ✨
Marisa from interlüde will host you. We're building spaces for connection, belonging, and community, one gathering at a time.
🤩 Spaces are limited, so we can keep the gathering personal and leave room for real encounters.
By registering for this event, you agree to follow the Community Guidelines and that interlüde may take photographs, video, and audio recordings during the event.
