About Event

Join NYC AI Governance & Safety for an informal dinner with the CEO of Pangram, Max Spero.

In case you haven't seen it working its magic on Twitter and LinkedIn, Pangram is the leading model for detecting AI-generated text. Pangram's mission is to mitigate new issues caused by the proliferation of powerful generative AI models.

During the dinner, Max will tell us a bit more about:

  • Pangram's journey as a product and business.

  • The broader role detection might play in addressing AI's risks.

  • The technical challenges of building Pangram.

  • The difference between "good" writing and human-generated writing.

Read more about Pangram here.

Location will be easily accessible and in Brooklyn Heights/Dumbo. It will be disclosed to approved attendees.

Note: The cost of dinner will be covered by NYAIGS. However, please do RSVP only if you can make it, as it will be difficult to accommodate last minute cancellations.

This is a small event targeting 15-20 attendees. Apologies to those we can't accommodate.

NYC AI Governance & Safety creates convening spaces and events for professionals working across AI safety, security, governance, and public policy. It's led by Patricia Paskov and Dan Altman in their personal capacities.
