Roots & Runway Fashion Show @ The Rose

​Roots & Runway into Indie Sleaze. May 9th.

​Two venues. One night. Doors open at 4PM and we're not stopping until 4AM.

​Part 1: Roots & Runway at The Rose 160 W 25th St, Chelsea 4PM to 10PM

​Trip to Earth is taking over The Rose for a fashion showcase featuring models, designers, and artists actually doing something interesting right now.

​A few things about the venue:

• ​The Rose is a Chelsea speakeasy with hot pink neon, exposed brick, and velvet everywhere

• ​It's a real room, not a hotel ballroom with folding chairs

• ​The runway sits inside the indoor/outdoor bar so it actually feels like an event, not a presentation

• ​You can grab drinks, watch the show, and meet the people behind the looks without the usual fashion week stiffness

​It's the kind of spot you want to be at on a Saturday afternoon whether there's a show happening or not. We just happen to be putting one on.

​Part 2: Indie Sleaze NYC (Afterparty) 627 W 51st St 11PM to 4AM

​When Roots & Runway wraps, we move to the warehouse.

​Stephen Michael presents Leather and Lust. Here's what's happening:
