3rd Street / Islais Creek Bridge Replacement Project Action Planning Community Meeting
This is a continuation of the community conversations regarding the impacts of the 3rd St / Islais Creek Bridge Replacement project and developing a Bayview community response to address those impacts.
In this meeting we will:
Quick update on the project, if any
Add to Bridging Bayview's Demands based on previous community conversations.
Community Power Mapping to determine who to engage to meet community demands on the bridge replacement project.
Food and Beverage will be available.
3rd Street/Islais Creek Bridge is being replaced leading to 2 years of construction with no bridge access, no T-3rd Light rail service, and cutting off a main artery into Mission Bay for Bayview Residents. BASS Collaborative Goals:
Improve street safety and transportation accessibility in Bayview-Hunters Point and Fillmore/Western Addition.
Knowledge share with residents and community-based organizations all the projects happening in the project areas to inform advocacy.
Offer residents and CBOs the array of services and tools provided by SF Bicycle Coalition, Walk SF, and SF Transit Riders.
