ABOUT THE SESSION

We are thrilled to invite you to our forthcoming online workshop, "Prompt Etiquette."

During the workshop, we will discuss the enshittification of generative AI, clinge on the cringe side of prompt design, and explore our uncomfortable and awkward experiences with AI.

Most importantly, we will discuss the best practices for navigating prompt design in a more emphatic, creative, and mindful way.

The participants are invited to share their differing opinions and approaches in a collaborative setting where they can learn from each other's experiences.

As you decide to take a seat at the table of Prompt Etiquette, we will encourage and provide opportunities to foster an inclusive and non-biased discussion through virtual playful activities to ensure that everyone feels respected and valued throughout the conversation.

Finally, the session will culminate in the joint development of a set of fundamental etiquette for the ethical use of generative AI prompt design. These guidelines will be a useful resource for future development, research, and everyday application, promoting responsible and ethical practices.

This event is open to anyone with an interest in design, GenAI, and its ethical implications.

Participants are required to have access to AI image creators such as DALL-E to participate in the workshop activity.

We are happy to discuss with the community different models to be used during the workshop.

Luca Cacini is an artist, designer, and researcher based in Vienna. His ongoing investigation focuses on language, the machinic production of content through generative AI, and its implications for limiting or augmenting our political and social imagination.
