About Event

In response to the newest tariffs imposed on goods between the U.S and Canada, we’re bringing together key subject matter experts and entrepreneurs to help you better understand how these may impact your business, how to navigate the continuous updates, and how you can best mitigate the impact for you and your business. This is a follow-on discussion from our first tariff roundtable that was held in February 2025. Our goal is to provide Canadian entrepreneurs real-time support.

Startup Canada has created a Tariff Toolkit for Canadian SMEs that provides up-to-date announcements and resources.

ABOUT
Our mission with this roundtable is to give entrepreneurs the chance to connect with and learn from industry experts and later stage founders navigating the current tariff landscape, share resources in real-time, and learn about support available across the ecosystem.

This roundtable will focus on how businesses are responding to the new tariff updates. Speakers will open with brief presentations, sharing how their organizations are adapting and pointing attendees to helpful resources along the way. The remainder of the session will be dedicated to open audience Q&A, giving entrepreneurs the chance to ask our speakers direct questions about tariffs, big or small. Our goal is to leave attendees with tangible advice they can apply to navigate these changes.
