Valentine’s Day is all about love and intimacy, but for that to flourish you need a deep connection. Not only a connection with someone else, but also with yourself. This event is all about learning how to build emotional connection with yourself and the world. We'll be working on learning skills you can strengthen over time to nurture better connection and communication.
This event is part of our Wynwood pop-up mental wellness gym series, where we build emotional fitness together, one skill at a time. In this session, we’re focusing on learning connection, expression, nervous system regulation, and communication through dance.
What to Expect
We’ll guide you through a structured, supportive session that includes:
Light, guided movement to get out of your head and into your body
Partner and group exercises focused on emotional connection and communication
Simple somatic exercises to help regulate your nervous system
Beginner bachata class
Practices you can take with you into your relationships for better connection (romantic or not)
Together, we’ll be training foundational skills you can return to anytime you're looking for connection.
Event Schedule
6:30 - 7:00: Arrival, Grounding & Warmup
7:00 - 7:30: Guided Movement & Partner Exercises
7:30 - 8:15: Bachata Dance Class
8:15 - 8:30: Group Integration & Sharing
