Good Grief: Making Space for Black Men to Grieve
Modern life conditions us to stay productive, push through, and carry our heaviest emotions alone. But grief isn’t only about death. It can live in career transitions, changing relationships, unmet expectations, parts of ourselves we’ve had to hide, and the ancestral weight we carry.
Good Grief is an intimate gathering for Black men and masculine-identified folks to step off autopilot, slow down, and sit with what’s real.
Together, we’ll explore grief through guided stillness, journaling, conversation, and shared ritual, grounded in Francis Weller’s Five Gates of Sorrow. No fixing. No performing strength. Just space to be present with ourselves and in community with one another.
