About Event

Turning a neurotech idea into a company means making big decisions early: protecting your IP, finding the right lab or tech space, and hiring your first people. Pitch. Protect. Grow. brings the experts who can help in one room for a day.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re starting a company or want to support those who are.

What’s on

  • Expert fireside conversations on IP, lab space, tech space and recruitment, with two specialists per topic

  • “Ask the Experts” roundtables where you bring your own questions to small groups and get specific answers

  • Panel discussion with all eight experts, shaped by the questions raised during the day

  • Founder Challenge workshop where you work in teams through a realistic 90-day post-seed scenario

  • Networking with people from across the neurotech ecosystem

Who should come

The day is designed to enable aspiring and early-stage neurotech founders to network and learn from established founders and other members of the neurotech community.

You’ll get plenty out of the day if you are:

  • An aspiring or early-stage founder

  • A researcher or academic thinking about commercialising your work

  • An investor, mentor or adviser working with early-stage companies

  • A service provider, supplier or space provider supporting founders

  • A student or early-career professional curious about the neurotech ecosystem

  • Anyone who wants to connect with the next generation of neurotech founders

What you’ll leave with

  • Clear, practical guidance on protecting your IP, securing space and building a team

  • Access to the Reccy Neuro Ecosystem Map and Connect Health Tech, to find people and events in the community

  • An introduction to the Multi Specialist Business Hub, where you can find experts for specific pieces of work without hiring full-time

  • New connections across the neurotech community
