​🍕 THEY’RE BACK. 🇮🇹🔥

​Matan returned from Italy. Sarabeth survived Burning Man.

​Pizza. Campari. Playa dust. Absolutely no panels.

​Against all odds, Matan has chosen to return from vacation in Bari and rejoin us in New York.

​Meanwhile, Sarabeth has returned from Burning Man, is presumably still finding playa dust in places playa dust has no business being, and is being slowly reintroduced to concepts like walls, plumbing, email, and shoes.

​Both of these events deserve recognition.

​So, before NYCW begins and everyone starts saying things like “catalytic,” “ecosystem,” “additionality,” and “I think we met at the Puro.Earth Summit,” we’re gathering a small group of friends at Matan’s for an evening devoted to considerably more important matters:

🇮🇹 Italy
🔥 Questionable Burning Man stories
🤌 Aggressive hand gestures
❤️ Friends we actually want to see
🚫 Absolutely no programming

​There will be no panel.

​There will be no fireside chat.

​There will be no discussion of carbon markets unless someone pays a penalty in Campari.

​There may be an unsolicited explanation of something that happened at 3:30 & Esplanade.

​We cannot control everything.

​Just a very good group of people eating pizza and celebrating the fact that Matan looked at Bari and came back, Sarabeth looked at the default world and eventually came back, and somehow everyone has reconvened in New York.

​And because apparently pizza, Campari, Italy and Burning Man weren't enough:
