About Event

​Back to the Basics, powered by Wealthsimple Foundation, is all about breaking down credit and making it make sense.

​Together, we'll unpack how credit actually works, bust the myths that keep people stuck or scared to engage with it, and walk through practical ways to build and protect your credit with confidence.

​We'll also be joined by Celine Mathews-Negash, an Advisor at Wealthsimple, Chartered Investment Manager, and Certified Financial Planner. Celine regularly volunteers with the Wealthsimple Foundation, leading workshops and 1:1 sessions to help equity-deserving groups reach their financial goals. She'll share her expertise on credit and financial planning, and answer your questions live.

​This session is hosted by the company’s Black Employee Resource Group (B@WS) in collaboration with Kickback. Location details will be shared with registered attendees.
