About Event

The midterm election is on Tuesday, November 3!

Join us for a community conversation about how the midterm elections will influence the leadership and decision-making in our communities, the impact of what’s on the ballot, and the many ways we can participate year-round beyond elections.

What We'll Talk About

The state of voter participation
We’ll look at national voter turnout data and what it can tell us about how our voices and interests must continue to be represented in our government and communities.

What’s actually on the ballot?
We’ll break down ballot issues, what they mean, and what voters are being asked to decide. We’ll also explore the roles of different elected offices and how those positions can affect our communities, without focusing on individual candidates or parties.

How elections impact our communities
We’ll discuss how government decisions impact the issues that matter in our everyday lives, such as housing, affordability, education, healthcare, jobs, and other local priorities.

Beyond the ballot
Voting is one way to participate, but it’s not the only one. We’ll discuss ways to engage with your community, stay informed, advocate for issues you care about, and keep your voice in the conversation year-round.
