About
Most companies pay five figures a year for software that is, underneath, a dashboard, a form and a database. That price made sense when building it took twenty engineers and two years. Not anymore.
SaaS Destroyer is a one-day hackathon to test that. Pick a SaaS product with public pricing, rebuild the part that matters in eight hours, and work out what it costs to run.
How it works
Pick your target — a real SaaS product with pricing you can look up.
Start from an empty repo. Open source, models and coding agents are all fine.
Show your numbers — their yearly price, your yearly cost, and the gap between them.
Schedule
9:00 — doors open, coffee, teams come together
10:00 — targets locked in, building starts
18:00 — tools down
18:00–20:00 — demos, judging and prizes
Prizes
1st — [TBC]
2nd — [TBC]
Biggest single saving — [TBC]
Plus model and compute credits from our sponsors. Final amounts announced once sponsors are confirmed.
Whatever you build stays yours — no equity, no fees, and it isn't a demo day.
