support for Franky show 🖤
dear friends fans & lovers of fall (don't @ me):
this show is an incredibly special testament to what it means to be in Community and support one of our very own. a couple weeks ago, Franky (my good friend, guitarist, and close collaborator) had a bunch of his gear (a guitar, laptop, speaker, & hard drive) stolen from his car while parked over the weekend...all of this after his car had been hit by an FDNY ambulance 💔 some beloved homies and i decided it'd be the most authentic display of support to put together this show where all funds go to supporting Franky as he replaces his stolen instruments and gear.
the evening's offerings will include:
healing soul music from me, Franky and Mel Chanté
delectable home-baked goods for sale / donation coming from my very own kitchen in my very own home
special art prints for sale / donation designed by Romy Weidner in honor of the occasion
i've always considered my home a grounding space where folks can gather intentionally to connect, hold each other, & replenish physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually. we welcome you to join us 🖤
