Midlands Extracellular Vesicles Conference 2027 (Day 1)
Want to learn about extracellular vesicles?
Want to see what’s new in the field?
Want to find out about research and facilities within the MI Universities?
The Midlands Innovation Extracellular Vesicles Network (MIEVN) is delighted to welcome colleagues from across the Midlands and the UK to our free in-person annual conference – this year also features tours of laboratory facilities on the day and a second day workshop both delivered by Aston University (See the Extracellular Vesicle Lipidomics Workshop (Day 2) · Luma registration page)
This event will bring together academics, local biotech and instrument manufacturers to discuss all things EV. Come along to learn about the technology, hear what’s new in the field or present your research.
This conference is open to all researchers with an interest in extracellular vesicles, including those wanting to learn more about this exciting and rapidly expanding field. All are welcome, including Principal Investigators, Post-doctoral scientists, Technicians, Early Career researchers (including PhD / Masters students) and Industry representatives.

MIEVN is a joint partnership across Midlands universities, led by the Midlands Innovation Health core partners, which aims to:
Develop a vibrant multidisciplinary research community, both academic and industrial.
Facilitate inter-disciplinary and inter-sectoral research collaborations to develop the next generation of EV-based research.
Share best practice and provide a platform for collaborative rather than competitive bids, strengthening submissions to research councils for funding.
Train, support and inspire the next generation of outstanding leaders in EV research.
