Halloween Hike 🎃🥾

​We are spending Halloween underground — and we could not be more excited about it.

​This October 31st we have our Halloween hike with a guided tour of the Catacombs of Priscilla, one of Rome's most ancient and atmospheric underground burial sites, before emerging into the sunshine for a flat 5km walk through the beautiful Villa Ada park. We finish with lunch at Opificio Vescovio. Spooky, scenic and social — the perfect Halloween in Rome 🎃

​The Plan

​🚇 Getting there is easy — take Metro B to S.Agnese/Annibaliano station and walk 1km to the Catacombs. No car needed!

​🕳️ 11:15am — Meet at the Catacombs of Priscilla

​👻 11:30am to 12:15pm — Guided tour of the catacombs. Dating back to the 2nd century these are some of the oldest Christian catacombs in Rome and genuinely one of the most fascinating underground experiences the city has to offer. The perfect Halloween activity.

​🌳 12:15pm — We emerge into Villa Ada for a 5km flat walk through one of Rome's most beloved parks. One hour of fresh air, autumn leaves and good company.

​🍽️ 13:15pm — Lunch at Opificio Vescovio to close out the day

​Difficulty

​This walk is completely flat and perfect for absolute beginners. If you have been curious about joining Sentiero Sisters but were not sure if you were fit enough — this is your hike. If you can walk, you can do this one 🥾

​🎃 Catacombs guided tour ticket: €10 per person — pay online or €12 the day of

​🌳 Walk only: completely free — join us just for Villa Ada and lunch if you prefer
