About Phil
Phil Ehr is a retired U.S. Navy commander and the Democratic candidate challenging the Republican incumbent in South Florida, the state's 28th Congressional District.
In the Navy, Phil flew reconnaissance missions in the Cold War, Desert Storm, the Balkans, and post-9/11 operations. He provided strategic advice to senior leaders in Washington, London, and NATO. His final assignments in were in England, where he and his wife raised their family. He is a proud new grandfather and regards himself as a Floridian and a Londoner.
Phil immersed himself in Florida politics in 2017 for the same reasons he served a full career in the Navy—to support and defend the Constitution; for freedom, democracy, human rights and equal opportunity to pursue prosperity and happiness. Phil is fighting for America to change course.
