We are delighted to invite you to a special, invitation-only gathering celebrating the official opening of the Worden Marine Innovation Center.
This milestone would not be possible without a community of people who have encouraged us, supported our work, shared our vision, and believed in what might be possible. We hope you will join us as we open our doors and share what comes next.
Housed in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art facility on the historic KITCO family farm, the Worden Marine Innovation Center is where we are working to turn an ambitious idea into a practical reality: commercially viable, zero-emission marine transportation powered by the sun.
Founded by solar and clean-energy pioneer James Worden, whose research at MIT helped lay the foundation for this work, Worden Marine is bringing together decades of experience in solar technology, engineering, and boatbuilding to explore a new approach to marine transportation—one designed around clean, quiet, reliable solar-electric power.
Come see what we’ve been building.
Tour the new Innovation Center, meet the people behind the work, and get an up-close look at the TRUSOLAR40, our new 40-foot, purpose-built solar-electric vessel.
Most importantly, we hope this will be an opportunity to gather with the people who have helped us reach this moment—and with those who are interested in where this technology can go next.
We would be honored to celebrate with you.
Space is limited for this invitation-only event. Please RSVP by August 27, 2026.
