Bubble Lab and Lunatechs is happy to present to you guys our 2026 PRE-SF Tech Week event! We know everyone is SUPER excited for tech week so we designed what hopefully will be the PERFECT event to kick it off!
What is Pretty Cool Demos and Pre-Tech Week Social?
First we'll do what we're calling "Pretty Cool Demos!". This will be an open demo sign up list where each person gets 5 minutes to show their demo. Skip the long slow roll dramatic story, just cut to the chase and show us the AMAZING thing you are building! Get to know what each other is doing and help each other connect during Tech Week.
We'll also have a system to share your interests and the Bubble Lab AI system will help us all find potential crew mates! Having a good crew will not only make Tech Week 10x more effective but also make it 10x more enjoyable! We all know that social awkwardness of going to events!

Who Is Bubble Lab?
Bubble Lab (YC W26) is the operating system for paid professional communities — member directory, applications, onboarding, matchmaking and engagement workflows in one place, built around Slack and compatible with Discord, WhatsApp and the rest of your stack. Communities show up juggling ~14 tools and about 20 hours a week of manual admin; Bubble Lab replaces the lot.
It's built by Selina Li and Zach Zhong, a second-time founding duo out of Cornell Tech. Selina went UPenn → quant researcher at J.P. Morgan Asset Management → CEO; Zach went UCSD CS → founding engineer at CutiePet → CTO. Before Bubble Lab they shipped gymii.ai together, an AI nutrition tracker that reached thousands of users through Cornell Tech's Spinouts program. Two people, in San Francisco, out-shipping teams many times their size.
Who is Lunatechs?
A tech-enthusiast community — find your fellow tech lunatics. Talks, workshops, meetups, hackathons; no gatekeeping, no monthly commitment. Born in Hong Kong, now 1,000+ members there, with chapters in Hong Kong and Singapore. After Shanghai the tour hits San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles and Palo Alto — Shanghai gets to open it.
Lunatechs is run by people who've shipped things you've used. Co-founder Hanley Leung is an engineering leader out of Apple, EA and Yahoo!. Co-founder Jason Xu built product at Google and Alibaba. Between them: decades in big tech, and years of hands-on experience working in China's tech world — this isn't a fly-in event; it's a community run by people who know Shanghai's builders are among the best anywhere.
