Portola Valley Hike
Join local Portola Valley resident and horse owner Lucia Mokres on a 5.88 mile hike, round trip (moderate difficulty, medium to brisk pace). Route is linked here:

When: Saturday, May 31
Depart 12:30pm from the Windy Hill parking lot on Portola Rd. DO NOT GO TO THE PARKING LOT ON SKYLINE (or the one on Alpine Rd). If you can not find a spot in the parking lot there is usually some room on the side of the road to park on Portola Rd.
Who: Everyone! Unfortunately dogs can not enter Coalmine Ridge so no doggos this time. Emmy the horse 🐎 will come along.
Unofficial starting spot: Normally we'd start this hike from Portola Valley Town Center due to better parking but PVPalooza will be running concurrently with our hike on Saturday. Lucia and Emmy the horse will be passing PVTC on their way to Windy Hill around 12:15pm. Because PVPalooza starts at 10:30 AM, if you want to go check it out early, and you find parking, you could always hook up with them and walk together to Windy Hill. If you choose this option please let Lucia know so she knows if she needs to be looking for anyone at PVTC. Emmy is hard to miss though so if you see them go by, trot on over and join.
Then celebrate a great hike with beer and food trucks and live music afterwards!
