The Intelligence Triad: Elevating STRs
The Intelligence Triad: Elevating STRs
Public-Private-Civil Collaboration
Organised by Luxembourg for Transparency (L4T) in cooperation with the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
About the Event
Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) are a cornerstone of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT) frameworks. However, translating raw reports into actionable intelligence requires stronger cross-sector collaboration.
"The Intelligence Triad" brings together institutional leaders, regulatory experts, and civic organisations to explore how working together can improve intelligence quality, close operational gaps, and better protect our financial ecosystems.
Key Discussion Themes
Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs): Operationalising secure information-sharing between banks, fintechs, and law enforcement.
FIU & Regulator Engagement: Aligning expectations and improving feedback loops for high-value STR submissions.
Leveraging Civil Society Insights: Integrating open-source intelligence and civic oversight into AML investigations.
