The Compass: Freedom - From Lens to Self Festival 2026
How much room for choice exists within the actual conditions of your life?
In this Compass session, you will explore the relationship between constraints and freedom, starting with what you can observe in your everyday surroundings.
Through photographic exercises, you will give form to a real constraint and look for a possible alternative within the same situation.
Your images will help you distinguish what belongs to the circumstances from what you can still influence through choice. A guided conversation will support you in exploring these possibilities and identifying a small experiment to try.
The Compass uses photography to make values, possibilities and direction visible, turning an observation into a concrete choice.
