We'll share some foundational questions which EA brings up (e.g. reduce human suffering or deaths?), discuss some critiques of EA and dump resources which you can dig into in your own time (effective thesis, co-working space, career guide...). For longstanding EAs: please make a mental note of any resources you've found useful/ any EA assumptions you struggle with. We chose these activities as they were top-rated in the Amsterdam student group which I was coordinating. But we'd love to know what you'd like to do! So we'll poll what kind of topical deep dives you want to do- fellowships- (EA intro, AI safety, AI governance, biosecurity, animal welfare...?) and social activities you're keen on doing. 💙
