TNT AUGUST 2024: The Charitable BEAR Throwdown
Over the past 25 years, @bearhouston , a local 501(c)(3) organization, has worked with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) and Harris County Resources for Children and Adults to provide support to CPS-children and their caretakers. From school supplies to Christmas gifts to basic necessities and services, BEAR Houston dedicates their time and energy towards the almost 16,000 children in CPS-related cases, and the Houston Coffee Collective and @theyellowcup_htx is dedicating our August TNT toward their cause.
Thursday, August 8th. 5pm practice pours, 6pm registration, 7pm first pour. Bring your own pitcher, bring your own cup.
32-person, single-elimination, free-pour latte art competition. $10 buy-in, all going towards BEAR Houston, first-come first-serve registration, and we will be accepting school supplies and donations throughout the event.
Throughout the event, we will be raffling prizes donated by our lovely sponsors. Tickets can be purchased at the Throwdown, $5 for two tickets, $10 for 5 tickets.
Dress code: BACK TO SCHOOL! Rep your alma mater, dress for academic success, get your geek on!
