Who are you when you’re not teaching?
See You After School is a free 90-minute virtual coaching experience for educators about making a little more room for that person.
Teaching has a way of taking up a lot of room.
There’s always another student, email, lesson, meeting, family, deadline, or thing that could use a little more of you. And somewhere in there, the person who teaches can start getting less airtime than the teacher.
We’ll step away from the to-do lists and spend some time reconnecting with the interests, identities, creativity, curiosity, and maybe a few forgotten parts of yourself that exist beyond your work.
It’s a chance to pause, reflect, connect with other educators, and ask:
Who am I besides a teacher and what would it feel like to give that person a little more room?
We’ll spend time reflecting individually, talking in small groups, and actually doing something with what comes up. You’ll leave with one small experiment to try in the week ahead, not another item for the to-do list, but something that belongs to you.
No preparation needed. Come as you are.
No homework. Obviously.
