Troika Consulting for Mutual Aid Fundraisers

​​Donor Organizer Hub offers an every-other-month one-hour, drop-in Community of Practice for movement fundraisers.

​In this political moment, when traditional funders and government programs have been pulling back, we're seeing more people step up to fundraise their peers and provide direct assistance for community members in need — whether through solidarity funds, mutual aid collectives, or simply neighbor-to-neighbor giving. Fundraising for people with whom you have direct relationship presents unique challenges, especially when power dynamics or long-term support needs come into play. This community space is intended to support fundraisers navigating those challenges with wisdom from peers.

​​Troika consulting is a simple meeting format for peer support and learning: groups of 3-4 rotate in sharing a challenge they're experiencing and receiving feedback from peers on how to approach that challenge.

​​Through troika consulting, you'll gain insight on an issue you're facing, uncover new ideas and patterns, build relationships with fellow peers, and reflect on next steps for what you're building.
