Hyde AI Builder Hackathon-IIT Bombay
Hyde and WnCC are hosting a one-day Hackathon at IIT Bombay for people who like hard, weird problems.
Here's the challenge: train a small transformer to play a game. No GPUs, no giant models, just you, a CPU, and some clever thinking. We did this internally and argued about it for weeks. Now it's your turn. The full problem statement drops on the day.

A bit about us: Hyde is an applied AI lab founded by ex-Palantir and ex-McKinsey founders, with engineering talent from Google DeepMind, Optiver etc. and backed by General Catalyst and Bain Capital Ventures (BCV).
We help companies build their own AI models, tailored to their data and workflows. Much of our work is in post-training with reinforcement learning: taking capable general-purpose models and making them exceptional at specific tasks.
This hackathon is a small taste of that: building, experimenting, breaking things, and making models better.
We're growing and would love to meet people excited by this kind of work. But mostly, it’s a day of building cool things and having good conversations.
