Haven Toronto Game Jam / Hackathon (Hack Club)
Make a video game in a weekend. Free food, free prizes, no experience needed.
Haven Toronto is a 2-day game jam for high schoolers (ages 13–18). Show up solo or bring friends, form a team, and build a game from scratch, whether that's your first ever or your fiftieth.
Never coded before? Good. We'll run beginner workshops, and mentors will be around the whole time to help you get unstuck.
What you get
Free meals and snacks all weekend
Prizes for the best games
Beginner workshops + mentors
A room full of people who like making stuff as much as you do
What to bring
A laptop + charger
Any ideas you've been sitting on (or none, we'll have a theme)
Cost: Free. Haven is run by Hack Club, a nonprofit that supports teen coders, and Toronto is one of many Haven cities happening around the world.
Spots are capped at 200, so register early. Parents can find a guide and more info at haven.hackclub.com/toronto.
