For Children: Who Am I? A Creative Journey Within with Guru Sri Chaitanya
Who am I beyond my name, my age, my appearance, my interests, and the roles I play?
This special gathering invites children and tweens to explore one of life’s oldest and most important questions: Who am I?
Before the event, each participant is invited to reflect on this question and bring a personal response in any form they choose. It could be:
A drawing or painting
A poem or short piece of writing
A speech
A song
A meaningful object
Any other creative expression of what “Who am I?” means to them
There is no correct answer, and the offering does not need to be polished. The purpose is to encourage children to look within and express what they genuinely discover.
During the gathering, Guru Sri Chaitanya will use their reflections as a doorway into a lively and accessible exploration of identity. Are we only the body? Are we our thoughts and emotions? Are we the different roles we play? If all of these continue to change, is there something within us that remains present through every experience?
Rooted in the Śrīvidyā Guru Śiṣya tradition, Guruji has a rare ability to make profound spiritual questions clear, practical, and relevant to modern life. Through conversation and guided self-inquiry, he will help young participants approach these questions with curiosity rather than giving them another answer to memorize.
This is an invitation for children to think deeply, create freely, listen to one another, and begin discovering the quiet awareness within themselves.
