​​# Cultural Week

​环境保护、女性主义、创新教育，这些今天常常被我们用现代、甚至“西方”的语汇来讨论的理念，对中国的一些“小地方”，其实并不陌生。

​去年，我们去到山川湖海间进行拍摄，也与一些朋友交流，搜集到了许多有趣的故事，比如：

​在牧区，人们将最干净的水供奉给神庙，因为 ta 们知道水、草、牛羊与人的命运彼此相连；在四川达祖村，孩子们在自然中长大，教育不仅发生在课堂里，也发生在土地、农耕与共同生活中；而在摩梭人的生活经验里，女性在家庭、劳动与日常决策中拥有清晰的主体性是家与关系网络中重要的支点。

​在“无限游戏”这个主题下，我们想聊聊那些在中国小地方持续生长的智慧：它们如何回应今天的生态问题、教育问题与性别问题；又如何提醒我们，很多面向未来的答案，或许早就埋藏在这片土地的生活经验之中。

​Environmental protection, feminism, and innovative education are often discussed today in modern, and sometimes even “Western,” terms. Yet for many of China’s smaller communities, these ideas are far from unfamiliar.

​Last year, we traveled across mountains, grasslands, lakes, and coastlines to document local lives and speak with people, collecting many compelling stories along the way.

​In pastoral regions, people offer the purest water to temples, because they understand that water, grass, livestock, and human life are deeply interconnected. In Dazhu Village, Sichuan, children grow up in close connection with nature, where education happens not only in classrooms, but also through the land, farming, and shared daily life. In the lived experience of the Mosuo people, women hold a clear sense of agency within family life, labor, and everyday decision-making, serving as vital anchors within both the household and the wider social fabric.

​We hope to explore these forms of wisdom that continue to grow in China’s small communities—their own versions of an “infinite game” rooted in the land. We also want to consider how they speak to today’s ecological, educational, and gender-related questions, and how they remind us that many of the answers we seek for the future may already be embedded in the lived knowledge of these places.
