About Event

How can truly optimal cost measures be identified? How can they be continuously optimized to achieve transformative energy cost reduction in factories?

Factories face increasing pressure to reduce energy costs, improve resilience, and meet emission targets. Given the high degree of technical, economic, and operational interdependencies, the challenge is not only deciding which measures to implement, but also to what extent and in which sequence. Electrification, flexibility, on-site generation, and efficiency measures all interact as part of one connected system— Crucially, value does not come from a single project, but from a continuous optimization loop. Using RIZM’s EnergyOS alongside SLR Consulting’s tailored advice, customers can compare and quantitatively optimize entire sets of measures at system level. This enables decisions on sizing, timing, and ambition that deliver truly optimal outcomes across measures, while allowing roadmaps to be re-validated and adjusted as energy markets, regulation, and production plans evolve. In this roundtable, we will explore how organizations set up, steer, and adapt transformative energy roadmaps with project partners — including governance and decision making insights — to reduce and stabilize energy costs while increasing resilience. We will discuss what helps such projects move beyond local optimization, and why outcomes are sometimes intuitive and sometimes surprising.

What to expect:
- Real-world experience instead of political talking points
- 50 minutes of structured peer-level exchange
- Small, curated group of 4–8 participants
