• ​why are we organising this?

  • ​this is an independently organised and self-funded initiative!

  • ​we want to bring the ai builders in singapore closer together and just... build?

• ​can i join remotely?

  • ​yes - definitely - though we'd love for you to still participate in the presentations at the end of the session

• ​are we supposed to form groups? If so, can I find a group there if I'm coming on my own?

  • ​there's no need to be in a team, and we'll help people find collaborators based on your interests!

• ​will we get any access to gpus for training?

  • ​nope! but we can still do finetuning: (1) openai's finetuning apis. (2) if you're using a m-chip macbook, we can also explore using mlx to finetune some 7b models. this repo has an easy example.
