About Event

Every Sunday, we're walking the full Lady Bird Lake loop — all 10 miles of it.

But here's the thing: this isn't a death march. I've mapped out fuel stops every couple of miles so you can grab coffee, a smoothie, tacos, or just catch your breath and call it a day whenever your body says so. No pressure to finish. No judgment if you peel off at mile 3 with a latte in hand. That's the whole point.

THE ROUTE & STOPS:

🌮 Start: Taco Joint (134 E Riverside Dr) Fuel up with breakfast tacos before we hit the trail. We'll gather here, grab food, and head out together.

Stop 1: Noble Joe Coffee Co. (~Mile 2 | Southshore Eatery, 1620 E Riverside Dr) First coffee stop. If you're a "just here for the vibes and a 2-mile walk" person, this is your graceful exit.

🌉 Stop 2: Cross the Dam & Wishbone Bridge (~Mile 3-4) We'll cross Longhorn Dam and the newly opened Wishbone Bridge to the north side of the lake. Great photo ops. No purchase necessary.

Stop 3: Coffee near Veracruz All Natural (~Mile 5 | E Cesar Chavez) Halfway point. Grab a coffee or a taco. Another perfectly acceptable place to tap out and claim victory.

🥤 Stop 4: JuiceLand (~Mile 6-7 | Lake Austin Blvd) A quick detour off the trail for a smoothie or acai bowl. Your legs will thank you.

🌉 Stop 5: Cross back south, pass Barton Springs (~Mile 8) We'll cross back over to the south side of the lake and pass by Barton Springs Pool. If it's hot, we won't judge a spontaneous dip.

🍽️ Stop 6: Casa De Luz (~Mile 9 | 1701 Toomey Rd) Optional stop for anyone wanting a wholesome macrobiotic meal before the final stretch.

🌮 Finish: Back at Taco Joint (~Mile 10) Full circle. Celebratory tacos for the finishers.

WHAT TO KNOW:

  • All paces welcome. This is a walk, not a race.

  • Drop off at ANY stop. Rideshare-friendly exits at every fuel point.

  • Bring water, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes.

  • Dogs welcome (leashed on the trail).

  • We go rain or shine unless it's genuinely dangerous out there.

WHO THIS IS FOR: Anyone who wants to move their body, have good conversation, and explore Austin's best trail with built-in snack breaks. Whether you walk 2 miles or 10, you're part of the crew.
