Sewing 101: Envelope Pillowcase

​Learn to sew and upgrade your living room vibe all in a single evening with this Sewing 101 special: Throw Pillow Covers!

​Together, we'll walk through the steps of creating your very own pillow cover: reading a pattern, cutting fabric, operating a standard sewing machine, and optional finishing techniques (like adding a cute button closure).

​Each participant will be provided:

• ​a 12x20 throw pillow form

• ​thread, scissors, and buttons

• ​access to our sewing machines & pressing iron

​While basic sewing knowledge is helpful for this class, it is not required. Beginners welcome! Just be aware that we will be working with hand and machine needles, scissors, and other sharp tools.

​MASK REMINDER:
The Collaboratory is a *Masks Required* space. 😷 We also run two air filters/purifiers during our gatherings. If you don't arrive with a mask, don't worry—we'll have them available at the door.
