About Event

You don't need more hours. You need a system.

Most founders and leaders are working 50, 60, 70 hours a week and still dropping things. The usual fix is a new app, a new planner, a new morning routine. It works for two weeks. Then life happens and you're back to pushing through.

A tool isn't a system. A system is the tools, processes, habits, skills, and principles that work together for the way you actually live. Travel, a sick kid, a fundraise, a bad quarter. A real system holds.

In two hours you'll:

  • Define productivity for yourself. Not "get more done," but who you are as a leader and what your life needs to support.

  • Take a ten-question assessment of your current system and see exactly where it leaks.

  • Map where your hours actually go, and what a 30-hour week would need to look like for you.

  • Work through the ten-hour week exercise: if you could only work ten hours, what would you do? Then two?

  • Do an identity shift exercise, because the person who built your current week isn't the one who gets you out of it.

  • Meet other founders and leaders in Boulder who are done with the 60-hour week.

Materials are provided. Bring a pen.

Who this is for: founders, CEOs, and senior leaders who are working too many hours for the results they're getting, and want a system, not a hack.

Who this isn't for: anyone looking for an app recommendation.

Details: doors and introductions at 5:30, we start at 6:00 sharp and end at 8:00. Light snacks and tea. Early bird $45 through October 31, standard $65, last minute $75. Kiln members and EO Colorado members: ask your community for a code.

Your facilitator: Yi Shan is a serial entrepreneur who scaled her first company, in New York City, to $50 million in revenue and $40 million in profit in three years, making it the second fastest growing startup in New York City. She burned out doing it, and spent the next decade building a way of working that doesn't cost you your health. Today she's the founder of Reset and Rise, an executive coach, and a constellation facilitator. She's especially passionate about overworked, overwhelmed social impact leaders, the ones making the world better, and helping them halve their effort, 10x their positive impact, and take their lives back.

Hosted by Reset and Rise as a Watson Institute Basecamp, part of the Flagship Fellowship.
