Legacy Division Thanksgiving Dinner & Fundraiser: Honoring Dennis Speer
Pull up a chair, because Dennis Speer is finally getting to sit down at the Thanksgiving table.
For years, Dennis has carried the mantle of hosting the MDI Legacy Division Thanksgiving. This year, we're taking the cooking, the prep, and the cleanup off his plate (literally) so he and every man in the division can relax, eat well, and enjoy each other's company. We're gathering at the Back Nine Grill & Bar, right off Highway 17 at the Pasatiempo exit in Santa Cruz, for a fully hosted group dinner. Partners, families, and guests are all welcome, so bring the people who matter to you.
Here's how the night flows. We kick things off with a welcome reception where you can check in, grab a drink, and catch up with the brothers you haven't seen in a while. Then we settle in for a hosted group dinner, and after the meal we turn our attention to Dennis. We’ll acknowledge what he has carried for this division, share where we’re headed as a tribe, and open the floor for reflections.
Evening Schedule
5:30 to 6:30 PM: Welcome reception, check-in, and fellowship
6:30 to 7:45 PM: Hosted group dinner
7:45 to 8:30 PM: Acknowledging Dennis Speer, tribal vision presentation, and open reflections
8:30 to 9:00 PM: Wrap-up and fellowship
Why We’re Raising Funds
Your ticket covers dinner and goes directly to sponsoring men who attend upcoming trainings and weekend intensives, funding our core 2026 division initiatives. Dennis has spent years making sure the men were fed. This year, the men ensure the next generation of leaders can show up.
Tickets & Seating
$50 per person. This covers the hosted dinner and contributes directly to Legacy initiatives. (Children 12 and under: $20)
Seating is limited, so register early for yourself and each guest you’re bringing.
Register by Friday, November 6, so we can confirm final counts with the restaurant.
