Slovak PRO 10k Run
Join Slovak PRO Chicago for a community run at the 50th annual Frank Lloyd Wright Races in Oak Park on Sunday, October 18, 2026.
IMPORTANT: YOU NEED TO BUY THE RUN PASS SEPARATELY FROM THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE
Our group will primarily be running the 10K, but if you prefer a shorter distance, there is also a 5K option. Everyone is welcome to run at their own pace. This is meant to be a fun community activity, not a competition within our group.
We’ll also be joined by friends from the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Chicago, along with Slovak PRO members and friends who will be there to cheer on the runners and support the group.
Race Day
Sunday, October 18, 2026
📍 Oak Park & River Forest High School
201 N. Scoville Ave., Oak Park, IL 60302
10K Run: 8:00 AM

The 10K is a scenic course through historic Oak Park and passes eight Frank Lloyd Wright-designed buildings, including the Frank Lloyd Wright Home & Studio. The 5K also passes several of the neighborhood’s best-known Wright homes.
All registered participants receive a Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired long-sleeve race shirt and finisher medal. Proceeds from the event support the Park District of Oak Park’s financial assistance program.
Registration
Each runner must register individually through the official race website:
https://runsignup.com/Race/IL/OakPark/FrankLloydWrightRaces
When registering, select either the 10K Run or 5K Run, depending on your preference.
Whether you’re running the full 10K, joining for the 5K, or simply coming out to support the group, we’d love to have a strong Slovak and Czech community presence together in Oak Park.
Na štart sa postavíme spolu, každý beží svojím tempom!
