Solo GP Summit
The Solo GP Summit is a gathering for solo GPs and the LPs who back them. It started as a WhatsApp group of solo GPs trading the things you can't ask on a thirty-minute intro call: what a first close actually cost, whether the LP who said "keep me posted" meant it. It became a monthly gathering. This October, we’re opening it up.
Two days in San Francisco, timed to lead directly into Raise Week.
DAY 1, MONDAY OCTOBER 19
An opening fireside with solo GPs and LPs discussing the first close, what worked and what broke, across Fund I through IV. Structured GP-LP speed dating followed by a welcome dinner where you get to sit next to your allocator of choice.
DAY 2, TUESDAY OCTOBER 20
What LPs who actually back solo GPs look for. A live teardown of real GP decks, with LPs giving feedback in the room. A masterclass on AI for fund ops: sourcing, comms, operations. Breakout tracks you choose, including the solo GP tech stack, an efficient path to IR and the AGM playbook, and for LPs, what to look for in emerging managers, how to evaluate their performance, how to get liquidity, how to support the managers already in your portfolio.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Structured GP-LP rounds on both days. Dinner seating based on who actually wants to keep talking. Dedicated LP-to-LP and GP-to-GP sessions.
